The YWAA provides and supports the giving of the Yale Book Award annually to over 50 high schools in Westchester County. The award is presented to a Junior, selected by the high school's faculty or award's selection committee, who has demonstrated "outstanding personal character and intellectual promise." Recipients receive a Yale related book and a Yale Book Award bag to recognize their selection.
The money necessary for implementing this program comes from the YWAA's general funds and financial support for this specific program is welcomed.
